Luna module 考証(38)

Apollo13ルナモジュールは下降段のエンジンLunar Module Descent Engine (LMDE)のパーツ化を行いました。

↑「井」の字型の骨組の中央に据え付けられる感じです。資料が少なくて大分難儀しました。

↑組み立てが複雑にならないように、なるべくシンプルなパーツ構成にしてみました。ただ支持架の部分を強度を考えて一部エンジンのパーツと一体化しているので組み立ては注意が必要になりそうです。

↑とても上手ですね。2001年スペースステーションは歪みが生じやすいのですがきれいに作られてます。お見事! U-96の88㎜砲も細かいのにちゃんと作らていますね。すごいです。j dartさんのコメントを引用しておきます(作る人はヒントにしてみてください。)

Thank you for your many wonderful works. Over the years I have made a few. Your work extends the horizons of papercraft with nearly every model .As you push out, I improve ,
but I still have many failures and make mistakes.
I attach two photos. 1, - your complex space station. 2, - your U-96


Note on photo 1;
The model is strong and stable .Parts 152 are the exposed areas of the 8 large beams that support the lighter weight elements of the ring. The cables are part of an active system
that maintain an even strain on the station structure in response varying loads.

Note on photo 2
An alternate way to skin the model. Assemble all parts 159-169 ( cut at center line ). Shape the assembly and back up weaker areas with glue and tissue paper . Continue shaping
using burnishing and heat. Practice installing dry. Install the assembly using “ the white glue contact-bond method “ . Some white glues can be made to glue on contact. The method is quick and accurate and avoids the possible mess of wet glue , and holding or clamping.
